
The Esquire Coalition (EsCo) is a service club whose membership is predominantly but not limited to, African American males in grades 10-12. The central goal of the organization if to enhance the overall development of each student through a variety of enriching activities. This is done by focusing on the following areas of personal growth:
~~Service to both the Buchholz and Gainesville communities~~
Annual
projects include activities with senior citizens, donations for Thanksgiving and
Christmas baskets, Black History month activates and March of Dimes WALK
America.
~~Academic excellence~~
Members are to strive to achieve at least 2.5
GPA each nine week period Members will be involved in one or two college
visitations per year.
~~Moral character and decision making skills~~
Students are encouraged
to engage themselves in positive social interactions at every opportunity,
attend school regularly, and keep a wonderfully clean dean's record!
